Mary L. Hempel passed away January 29, 2008, at the age of 81. She was born October 8, 1926 in WestBrook, TX but lived most of her life in Racine, WI. After retirement she and Bill moved to Arkansas for several years before moving to Texas to be nearer to family. She leaves behind sons, Robert and wife Ruby of Mississippi, Glenn and wife, Sharlene of Willis, TX, Wm J., Jr. of Missouri and Michael of Arkansas; daughters, Donna Enloe and husband, Lyndell of Texas, Karen Lundt and husband, Richard of Wisconsin, Mary Lynn Koppenhaver and husband, Bob of Delaware; grandchildren, Christopher and Shirley Hempel, David, Anthony, Shawn and Mitchel Hempel, William Hempel, Candice Kist, Angela Fallert, Amanda Hempel, Rebecca and Jeremy Hempel, Brad Enloe, Linda Morris, Donald, Darlene, and Katie Lundt, Ashley and Alyssa Koppenhaver; 16 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, James and Christa Malone, Norma Dean Garrett, Rick Harding, and Travis and Connie Malone, and many friends. Mary was proceeded in death by her husband, William J. Hempel, Sr.; her parents, James Michael and Jimmie Josephine Malone; sisters Leola Jeter, Betty Spencer, Ethel Harding, and grandson, Darrel Enloe. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Heritage Pentecostal Church, Plum Grove Rd, Cleveland, TX. Memorial
